Led by a group of 21 senior players that all did their part to make 2010 a special year, the COMMANDOS would make it to their 3rd State Championship Game in school history.  HHS would have a memorable run in the playoffs defeating Gallatin in the 1st Round at the WaveYard after losing there the previous week, knocking off the top-seeded Henry County Patriots which gave the COMMANDOS a home playoff game versus Northeast in the Quarterfinals.  Hendersonville was able to avenge last years opening round defeat to beat the Eagles.  That win sent HHS to Memphis to take on the undefeated #1 ranked 5A team in the state.  HHS would rely on special teams to take down the Ridgeway Roadrunners which sent HHS to Cookeville to take on Columbia in the state championship game.  The COMMANDOS would come up short, falling 7-28 to the Lions ending a memorable season.
